Radium Hot Springs

Radium Hot Springs is a natural hot springs situated by the Colorado River, about 15 miles southwest of Kremmling and less than an hour’s drive from Edwards. Visitors can take a steep and short hike to reach the hot springs, which can also be accessed from the Mugrage Campground parking lot. The pool is often washed out during spring snow melt, but during the rest of the year, the warm pool is formed from rocks that create a space of about 15 feet in diameter. The water temperature can vary from 85 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing soak while surrounded by natural beauty, and for rafters on float trips down the river, the hot springs can be a welcome encounter on their journey.
