Hippy Dippy Hot Springs is a natural, free, and public hot spring located along the San Juan River, in a cozy rock-walled pool. The pool is heated by the nearby geothermal water resorts’ runoff and is constantly refilled by a PVC pipe. The main pool temperature is about 104-105℉, and there are also a couple of smaller, shallower pools along the river. To access the pool, visitors can park in the public park’s parking lot and use the simple changing area provided. While clothing is required for dipping, Hippy Dippy Hot Springs provides an opportunity to soak in natural mineral-rich water without spending a dime.
