Teller City
Teller City, located in the Grand Lake region, was a booming town in the late 1800s after silver was discovered in 1879. With over 1500 residents, it was said to be the largest town in the region. The Yates House Hotel, a 40-room hotel, was the biggest building in town. However, after silver prices dropped in 1884, the town was quickly abandoned, and by 1902, it became a ghost town. Today, only a few cabins remain standing in decent condition, along with some foundations.
