Nevadaville is an old ghost town situated near Central City, Colorado. The town was formed alongside Central City and Black Hawk as a result of gold discoveries in the area. Nevadaville never reached the prominence of those other two towns, but it was very important to the area, as many of the miners lived here. At its peak about 4000 people lived in the town. The town’s decline started in the early 1900’s and was accelerated by a fire that ravaged the town.
