Matterhorn

Matterhorn town, originally called San Bernardo, was named after a nearby peak that resembled the Swiss Matterhorn. Some of the town’s buildings were demolished by the Forest Service, but the remaining ones, especially the mill, which are over a century old, are in good condition and are being preserved. Unfortunately they are on private property.
